Explore the World of Technology: AMA Educational Tour

We are now about in the modern time, which every single day of our lives a new type of technology is being introduced to the world. Technology makes our life easier and faster. The usually technology we've seen is the computer, a computer is an electronic device. This use in many purposes, it's used for works, entertainment and for the education, usually for a computer student. Let's explore the different kinds of technology inside the AMA.

Last July 25 2014 CICT (College of Information and Communication Technology) had our Educational Field Trip in different IT (Information Technology) Company in Manila, and our tour on AMA computer college in Quezon City. The AMA was the first ICT University in Asia. Ama Company they make use their computer to receive a higher standard of teaching for their IT and other student. They also make use this to function their invention Robots.


Computer Center

We visit the Computer Center in the IT Building, which they discussed about the Robotics. A Robot is a mechanical or virtual robot can refer physical, often resembling a human or animals. A humanoid robot is a robot with its body shape built to resemble that of the human body, they discussed the different kind of Humanoid Robots like Asimo designed and developed by Honda, TOSY a robot that can play ping-pong with humans and the Nao Nxt Gen which they have to present to us personally.

Nao Nxt Gen was developed by Aldebaran Robotics a French robotics company headquarters in Paris, it is an autonomous, programmable humanoid robot. They show us how Nao works. Nao has the ability to interact with human, it can also detect the face of a person, can communicate in 8 languages. We had a chance to see near, hold and take a picture with Nao Robot.

We also Explore the other places in their school, which we see the different computer like in the library they have a desktop which you can research and browse the internet and IPad. A room with Mac Computers. They have different types of technology presence in their school, one of that is the Computer, projector, programmable logic and Robotics. We also visit the building of Engineering which we see the different robotics invention by AMA students. It was a good and fun experience to explore this kind of educational trip in a Computer College AMA, which we gain learning's, more ideas and information about the course that we take.

Base of my observation, the role of a computer user is a computer instructor and robotics inventor. There are many ways on how a computer user interacts with a computer by using input devices like keyboard, mouse etc.
